Course contents (core content level)

After completing the course student has tried out different ways to attack computer systems in laboratory enviroment.
The course show practically what secury is or isn't.
The course subjects:
- Google hacking
- Hiding your presence in the Internet
- Network scanning techinques
- Port scanning techinques
- gaining access to computer systems and getting root priviledges
- using rootkits
- password cracking

Student is familiar with different attack methods and can consider ways to protect.

Student can locate weakly protected computers and break into them. Also student knows how hide their presence in the computer.
Student knows how to crack passwords.
Student knows how to use Trojan horses and how to install them without the victim knowing it.
Student knows how to attack computer systems.
