Course contents (core content level)
There is one lesson hour every week. During lessons lecturers present the curriculum of Information Technology degree programme and the EVTEK student services are represented by visiting lecturers. Issues related to industrial placement and employment are also covered.

Student know the services at EVTEK and is familiar with the content of the curriculum. Student acknowledges the aspects of employment and labour market in Finland.

Teaching and learning strategies
The course has one lesson (45 min) every week during four periods. This course gives information about studies at EVTEK Information Technology degree programme. Presentations are given out by lecturers, laboratory directors and other EVTEK staff. The student services are also presented. Issues related to industrial placement are discussed. Partly lessons are used for class master issues.
