- Importance of consumer behaviour in marketing and marketing communications
- Models of consumer behaviour
- Personal, psychological, social and cultural factors affecting consumer behaviour
- Consumer protection and ethics

Students will master research and research types relating to consumer behaviour.

Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)

Students will understand consumer behaviour models and master consumer buying processes. The will also know how individual consumer behaviour and consuming as a member of a group affects marketing and marketing communication, and vice versa.

Students will be able to apply knowledge of consumer behaviour in planning and implementation of marketing and marketing communications.
