KB3001 Research and development work course and/or methodology.

The student becomes acquainted and can identify both the philosophy and the approach related to qualitative studies, its challenges and aims.
She recognises qualitative methodological theories and strategies, methods and approaches.
The student identifies basic data collecting metods and analytical tools. She knows basic terminology and ethical discussions relevant for qualitative studies.

Course contents (additional)

The student acknowledges different approaches and challenges. She can motivate, argue for and depict her choices related to data collecting methods and analysis. She relates her knowing and learning to her own thesis.

The student identifies the examination work as a process that involves reflection.
