Fundamentals of Mechatronics
Course contents (core content level)
Compressing process of gases, hydraulic transmission, volumetric flow, actuators, valves, pumps, flow diagrams and control of systems with one actuator.
Course contents (additional)
Sequence control of pneumatic systems, diagrams and applications of hydraulic systems with two or more actuators.
Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
After completing this course the student knows the dimensioning criterias of actuators, the function and use of the most common hydraulic and pneumatic components. He or she can read hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.

After completing this course the student is able to plan hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams for typical applications. He or she is able to connect and test hydraulic and pneumatic systems in laboratory environment.
