The student knows the basic process instrumentation and understands the configuration principles in process automation systems. The most important measurements in process industry. Process industry sensors, transmitters, measurement devices and actuators.
Documentation of an automation system. Functional description of an automation system. Project management and phases of a project plan.

After completion of this course the student is able configure
simple tasks to process automation systems.
Students is familiar with the most common configurations of automation systems and knows basic structeres of them.
