Prerequisites
No Evtek-studies required. Basic knowledge of PLCs and user interfaces recommended.
Course contents (core content level)
Automation in production. Control system in production automation and integration of the control system. Manufacturing execution system. Data acquisition and integration. Maintenance and OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) in production automation. Development trends of the production automation.

Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
After completion of the course student understands the meaning of the high level automation in production and knows how to apply control and information system when automating production. Student knows the theory of the OEE and knows how to optimize production with OEE.
