Course contents (core content level)
Principles of Ethernet and TCP/IP. Network equipment and cabeling. Local area networks, automation networks.
Course contents (additional)
Different network types, WLAN and VLAN. Automation and Ethernet. Security in the networks, firewalls. Remote control, VPN and remote control softwares.

After completion of the course students understands the principles of Ethernet and TCP/IP. Student knows how to design Ethernet-based automation networks and knows the most common network equipment as well the operation of the equipment.
