Course contents (core content level)

Student will be made familiar with various requirements, instructions, directives and other material concerning electrical safety. Laws and regulations, resolutions on operation and start-up of electrical appliances, safety of electrical appliances and the EMC ? compatibility.
TUKES?s regulations concerning electrical appliances and electrical installations, standards SFS 6000 and 6002. Other publications, such as the A4 (power transmission line regulations) D1 (handbook for house electric installations and repair of electrical apparatus)

TUKES?s directives concerning safety of electrical appliances, standard SFS 6001.

Student can manage the electrical safety regulation course material. Student understands the overlaps in the material, e.g. the same information may be in several sources. The student understands the significance and meaning of safety regulations.
