Main principles of electric house distribution technique with names and dimensioning. The calculating principles of the short circuit currents and voltage drop down. Principles of choosing the supply cables, groundings, transformers and high voltage
Course contents (additional)
Principles of the utility supply networks constructions with groundings and relay systems.
Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
After completion of this course the student is able to make main calculations of the house distribution network. Student is familiar with the calculations of the short circuit currents and voltage drop down. Student understands the limits and accuracy of the measuring instruments. Student knows the principles of choosing the supply cables, groundings, transformers and high voltage systems.
Core content level learning outcomes (skills)
After completion of this course the student is able to calculate the power and current of the electric loads installed in the building. Student is able to design normal house distribution network.
