Utilizing strategies for effective reading and listening to enhance comprehension, word formation, active participation in group discussions, improving presentation skills

After completion of this course the student has a satisfactory command of English for technology in general and the basics of field-specific English, is familiar with the vocabulary and use of English related to corporate world and engineering studies, and is familiar with cross-cultural communication.

After completion of this course the student is able to, in a satisfactory way, communicate in working life situations, describe field-specific products and the operations of a company, understand texts on topics related to technology in general and field-specific texts, give an oral presentation, and write a letter of application and a CV and survive a job interview.
