General construction materials, basic structure of materials, common testing of materials, operating characteristics of materials and environment permanence, damaging mechanisms of materials. Materials and the environment: green design. Classification of pressure devices and regulations of pressure devices.

Course contents (additional)

New material technology. Focus areas of the development of new construction materials and its effects in the future. Use of materials which takes the environment into consideration.

The student can conclude the material from the properties on the basis of the results of its material test. He understands the material to the operating characteristics of the product of the significance of the properties. He studies the grounds for the choice of the materials of the product. He knows the classification basis for the pressure devices He knows the operation-time inspection procedures of pressure devices.
