Course contents (core content level)
Fundamental principles of wastewater treatment and basic process parameters, components of wastewater flows, wastewater characteristics, unit operations of wastewater treatment plant, chemical precipitation, principles of activated-sludge process, removal of nitrogen by biological nitrification/denitrification, design of facilities fos the treatment and disposal of sludge, wastewater treatment in unsewered areas

Legislation, environment permissions, sampling, special problems of monitoring in wastewater treatment plants, process failures, devices and machinery in wasterwater treatment plants, industrial wastewater contract, design facilities for the wastewater treatment plant, wastewater characteristics at the unsewered areas, effectiveness of unsewered areas wastewater treatment systems, design facilities of unsewered areas wastewater treatment systems and different types of small wastewater treatment systems
