Technical documentation and CAD
Course contents (core content level)
Creation of the 3D models of the process plant. Beginning from the process flow diagrams process plant and pipe system models are created. The targets are general structures, the pipe system of the plant and the devices which are related to the pipe system.
Different visual presentations and planning documents to be obtained from the model. Lists of equipment based on the databases of the model
Course contents (additional)
Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
The student becomes acquainted with the modelling of the process plant with the help of application programs. He models the pipe system with its devices to the plant modelling by using the meant application program. He learns different ways to produce the information about the pipe system model needed by the realisation of the plant.
Core content level learning outcomes (skills)
The student is able to create with the application program a pipe system and its devices which is in accordance with the model. He or she can produce the documents necessary from the model, drawings and lists of equipment.
