Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
After completion of this course the student is able to formulate and solve the matrix equation relating a practical problem e.g. DC circuits. Participant also understands the basics of the vector algebra.
Core content level learning outcomes (skills)
Student uses fluently computer when problems described above are concerned.
Recommended reading
All the necessary material (written by the lecturer) can be found in the internet address, which is given to students in the beginning of the course. If student wants more support to studies, the suitable book is e.g.

Assessment weighting and grading
In order to pass the course (grade 1), student should get 40% (in all) of the total score in two individual tests . The ability to write Matlab code is also checked in tests. Further the so called "basic math test" has to be completed successfully. Homework activity has influence on the grade.
