Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
After completion of this course the student is familiar with principals of both probability theory and statistics. Student has some idea of random events and modelling and is able to analyze the given results. Participant knows basics of tests and SPC and is able to use regression analysis in technical applications.
Core content level learning outcomes (skills)
Student uses fluently computer when problems described above are concerned.
Recommended reading
All the necessary material (written by the lecturer) can be found in the internet address, which is given to students in the beginning of the course. If student wants more support to studies, the suitable book is e.g.
