Basics of Object oriented programming, basics of C++-language, differences between C ja C++.
Course contents (additional)
Basics of User Interface programming, design of Windows program using C or C++.
Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
The student gets understanding about principles of object oriented programming and is able to use them in software design and implementation. The student will understand classes and objects. The student will know build in classes and objects in C++.

After completion of this course the student will be able to design and test simple C++-language applications. The student will be able to analyze simple C++-language programs.

Two intermediate exams, assessment of the laboratory assignments and assessment of the homework projects. In order to pass the course the student must successfully complete the intermediate exams, the laboratory assignments and the compulsory homework projects.
