Soldering theory, electrical components, electrical connections, soldering of components onto circuit board, automatic data processing services in EVTEK, vocational training during studies, student exchange, financial aid to students.

Visual and electronic inspection of solder joints, profiling of reflow oven.

Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)

Students understand what is solder joint, recognize typical electrical components and understand how components are places onto circuit board. Students know services provided by EVTEK during studies.

Students can solder simple electrical circuits onto circuit board with hand using given instructions. Students can use different services available in EVTEK.

Grade is pass/fail. Compulsory laboratory works and presentation. To pass the course student must hold presentation, be presence in 95% of lectures and do all laboratory work.
