V0136 Introduction to Packaging Technology or corresponding knowledge
Course contents (core content level)
The course is consisted of a project dealing with package design, production and use in packaging. In the project know how about package design, printing and package production, packaging of food, logistics and automation in packaging will be combined.

Complementary knowledge outside the core subject area of the studentĀ“s specialization area eg. printing technology, package design, logistics or automation technology.
Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
On completion of this unit the student will know the stages of a packaging project in real life from design to packaging and delivery. The student will know the requirements of different steps in the packaging chain on packages.

On completion of this unit the student will be able to work together with specialists of different fields in packaging projects. He/she will be able to specify the expertise required in such a project. The student will know how to apply theoretical knowledge about packaging to real situations.
