Basic Course in Mathematics A

Course contents (core content level)

Limits and continuity, the concept of derivative, numerical differentiation, formulas, rules and applications for differentiation. Integral functions and definite integrals, numerical integration, formulas, rules and applications of integration. In the computer labs related mathematical problems are solved using some mathematics program.

Course contents (additional)

First order differential equations, methods for solving them, the method of small differentials.

The student understands the concepts of limit and derivative and knows how to use them in various applications. The student understands how to apply integration.
