On completion of the course the student will have a satisfactory command of field-specific English, and he or she will be familiar with the conventions of academic and technical writing.

On completion of this course the student will be able to follow the developments in his or her field using various sources. The student will be able to write an abstract on his or her final year project and a short report based on source material as well as to give a formal oral presentation in a satisfactory way.
