Taylor series, series expansions of functions
Fourier series
Spectra of periodic signals
Fourier and z transforms, tables for them
DFT, FFT, IFFT
Sampling theorem (Nyquist criterion), folding
Discrete systems, difference equations
Transfer functions, block diagrams

Finding Fourier coefficients through integration
Parseval?s theorem

The student is familiar with the basic concepts mentioned above. He/she can write functions as power series. He/she can plot spectra using Matlab.
