Synthesis of linear digital signal processing systems: design, analysis and use of digital filters, effects of quantization errors

Spectral estimation, matched filters and correlation methods in signal processing
Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
Student will know the basic design methods for signal processing systems and he/she can analyse filtering structures. Student will know the basics of spectral estimation.

Student is able to desing systems according given specifications in block diagram level. Student is able to use filter design tools and tools for spectral estimation/signal detection.
