General Geodesy
Course contents (core content level)
Theory of satellite measurements. Satellite constellations. Coordinate systems and transformations. Methods and use of satellite positioning and navigation. Geodetic relative static ground control network measurements. Kinematic and real time methods, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo.
Course contents (additional)
Satellite measurement processes and quality assurance. Use of VRS. Calculations and adjustments of relative static satellite measurements. Real time and post processed positioning error propagation.

After completion of this course the student will
- understand the role of satellite positioning in geographic information data collection
- know ways to perform satellite positioning, navigation and measurements
