Basic Course in Mathemathics B
Course contents (core content level)
The concept of probability and the expectation. Estimation of probabilities by using samples.
Some discrete probability distributions (eg. binomial). Normal probability distributions. Basic statistics (eg. mean and standard deviation). Confidence interval. Statistical tests with one and two samples. Applications to chemical prosesses and corrosion.

Tests with conversions of statistics. Economical tests. Modelling with many variables (Excel)

The student knows binomial and normal distribution and is able to make confidence interval. The student is able make test with one and two samples.
