Course contents (core content level)

The goal is to learn project based working methods in solving problems of media technology. The course is a synthesis of core digital media studies and teaches to apply and combine their substance in solving practical problems. Most of the projects are customer oriented guiding the studies towards acquiring knowledge and skills needed in real work life. The topics of the projects can be developing www-based services, DVD- or CD-ROM ?products, different R&D-projects etc.

Course contents (additional)

Each student will learn additional contents depending on the topic of the project. Carrying out the projects can demand profound and deep understanding of different technical methods and details.

The students gain a profound understanding how to organize and carry out a successful customer project. The knowledge core content depends on the individual project topic.

The project develops both organizing skills and the skills of using media technology tools and software development.

Assessment is based on the level of difficulty in the project, the quality of the achieved result and the quality of the project documentation.
