Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
On completion of this unit the student will know stages and unit operations of a pre press workflow and the principles of a automatic workflow. He/she will know the important standards within pre press ( PDF,JDF,OPI,Postscript, file formats). He/she will have a general view on device and software requirements.
Core content level learning outcomes (skills)
On completion of this unit the student will be able to produce print ready, imposed digital files out of text, image and graphic elements. He/she will also be able to specify a automatic pre press workflow. He/she will know the unit operations and will be able to use PDF-work flow programme ( e g. Agfa Apogee) in graphic production.
