On completion of this unit the student will have basic knowledge on the technical basic solutions and structures of finishing machines and device as well as varnishing. He/she knows the raw materials, properties and use of bindery glues and varnishes, too.

On completion of this unit the student will be able to use a paper cutting machine and make simple technical adjustments and foldings on a folding machine.
