On completion of this unit the student will know the importance on maintenance and backup functions on graphic industry. The student will know the basic technologies used in maintenance and he /she will know how to organize the maintenance operations in practice.

On completion of this unit the student will be able to plan and organize maintenance operations for a case printing plant. The student will be able to take into account the maintenance perspectives in machine purchase and process design.
