? Printing plates (surfaces) and Computer to Plate systems in different printing methods
? Forming of imprint, ink transfer and interaction of materials in different printing processes

Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
On completion of this unit the student will know the suitability of printing methods for printing different types of products. The student will have basic knowledge on the technical solutions and structures of the machines for making printing surface and printing presses. He/she knows the process variables of imprint forming and ink transfer in different printing methods.
Core content level learning outcomes (skills)
On completion of this unit the student will be able to identify the printing method used on a printed product. Moreover he/she is able to work on a printing press in assistant tasks, make simple technical adjustments on the press and measure the imprint with a densitomer.
