? The definition of the concept media
? Pondering on the different terminal equipment and their requirements to presented media for multichannel publication
? The basics of scenario-based user centred design is presented
? The basics of the methods for collecting user data, analysing it and presenting it
? Going through the different methods for evaluating the products usability issues
? How different media can be interpreted and what kind of methods and tools there are to enhance the analyse of the interpretation of the media

? Deeper insight into the definition media from different perspectives
? Concentration on the methods for presenting the media in an appropriate way from the aspect of the users interpretation process
? Additional theories to visual language and its semantics
? Pondering on how the semiotic methods can enhance the usability design and evaluations/testing

The student can explain the main issues of the theories using correct terminology. The student is able to combine and independently adapt the issues into different usage (additional knowledge)
