Marine biology, marine chemistry. Main focus is the Baltic sea. Marine archaeology. Deterioration processes, documentation, lifting, storage, conservation of waterlogged artefacts

Marine lab infrastructure, measuring equipments, titration, underwater documentation

A student understand why wooden shipwrecks are so well preserved in the baltic sea, understand the meaning of biology and chemistry in the deterioration processes. A studend will also understand the principles of documentation,lifting and storing of the waterlogged materials and basic conservation treatments
