The course covers the basic concepts of risk assessment and tries to find answers on how to find a balance between collection usage and preservation. Assignments.

Upon completion the student is able to recognise the risk factors threatening a collection. He/she is able to carry out risk assessments and assess different factors which have an effect on collection preservation.
