Course contents (core content level)
Upon completion the students will have acquired information about the history, motifs, techniques and materials used in icon painting. Each student paints a copy of one icon by using those traditional methods and materials. EVTEK Institute holds the right to reserve some of the best paintings on display while the students are studying at the institute.

This course will provide the student with information about the traditional (Russian) icon painting techniques amd materials. One of the assignments is to produce an accurate copy of one of the icons.
