Course contents (core content level)
The course provides the student with information about paper deterioration and damage processes through practical examples. Students learn to to estimate the birth mechanisms and extent of damages. This course is studied alongside Condition Survey-course.

Students will learn about the deterioration and damage mechanisms of paper materials. Upon completion he/she is able to classify the damages and determine the extent of deterioration.
