Realising the basic problems in paper and photograph conservation and ability to solve them. The professional ethics ofdifferent conservation treatments used. The material groups in paper conservation and the basic questions related to conservation treatments.

Basic literature and conference publications in paper and photograph conservation.

The student knows how to conserve different paper and photograph materials (different materials, techniques, solution models) and how to find relevant literature.
