The course introduces the student to the textile structures and weaves and textiles produced by different methods as well as their finishings. Students acquire information about fabrics and other materials with the help of tests. Students produce a textile product previously unknown to his/her.

This course will enable the student to distinguish and identify different structures and weaves in fabrics. Upon completion of the course the student is able to produce a textile structure previously unknown to his/her.
