Course contents (core content level)
This course provides the student with information about different stitches, txtile supports and materials used in textile conservation. Different tools and their use will be discussed. Practical part of the course covers stitching exercises and a practical project. The emphasis will be on the importance of choosing proper materials.

The aim of the course is to give the students theoretical and practical tools for choosing textile supports for different conservation projects conducted through their study years.
