Course contents (core content level)
The course also overs topics such as womenswear collections in retailing, different textile and clothing businesses and their business activities, tasks and duties of clothing designer. A small-scale women's collection for a chosen target group by using materials which are agreed upon with the group. One piece from the collection will be crafted and assessed.

Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
Students will learn about the principles of clothing design and construct a clothing collection from the womenswear point of view. Students are required to submit a collection portfolio. The aim of the course is also to provide the students with information about the tasks and duties of a clothing designer.
