Course contents (core content level)
The course covers designing a warp knit and counting the consumption of threads,as well as loom building and weaving. Experimentation on weaves and materials used in decoration fabrics. Tools used in weaving.

Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
The student is able to weave by using a manual/computer-aided loom, independently build a warp and produce different weave surfaces. The student knows the most common tools used in weaving and is able to use them appropriately. He/she is able to apply his/her knowhow when designing the work/weaving.
