Course contents (core content level)
Topics covered: Professional drawing: scale, the most common building plan notes, photography methods. Measuring and space requirements of detachable and stationary furniture. Factors affecting interior design; materials, coclours, lighting, etc.
Course assignments: presentation pictures regarding the interior plan of an apartment, coloured pictures if necessary, furniture and material catalogues, colour and material samples.

Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
This course is designed to introduce the student with the principles of interior design as well as with knowledge of the process and producing methods of interior design. The student knows about the approriate building plan notes and how to use them and is able to apply his/her knowledge regarding colour theory / material theory. He/she has also a good command of both detachable and stationary furniture measurements as well as requirements for space.
