Course contents (core content level)
Product design and product development process in designing. The course will cover different problem solving methods, data collecting methosd and design methods plus assessment methods for product design, functions and technical solutions.

Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
The student is able to understand the different phases of product design process, turning and idea to a manufactured product. The student has the abilities to produce ideas and design tectile products from different starting points by using different methods and for different target groups.
