The course will cover basic weaves, applied weaves, weave combinations, experimentation on weaves and weave analyses.

Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
Upon completion the student has a good command of the basics of weave theory. He/she is able to apply this knowledge when designing woven fabrics and take into account the purpose, materials and the special properties of different weaves.
