Course contents (core content level)

This course includes exercises in different formal and non-formal presentation situations. The student gets familiarised with how to perform in a convincing way and develops his/her managerial communication skills.The emphasis will be on explicity, argumentation, non-verbal communiation as well as how to use audio-visual aids and create an open and positive communication atmosphere. We will also take a look at different interviewing techniques as well as negotiation and meeting practises. Exercises will be recorded and assessed.

This course is designed to develop students' oral communication skills in interactive situations for both academic and professional purposes. The student will have a good command of appropriate and natural ways of reacting in different communication situations.
