MUST011, 012, 013 and 016 The weaving part of CAD II (MUST016) is part of this course.
Course contents (core content level)
The course covers surfaces, colours and materials. Reinforced weaves, experimentation on weaves. This course also includes designing interior textiles which will be produced during Weaving techniques II.

Core content level learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding)
An advanced study into woven textile design and design methods. The student explores various fabric weaves and understands the structures both in theory and in practise. He/she is able to apply this knowledge in his/her work during Weaving technique II.
