The student knows the course of the European and Finnish art history and she/he will have a structured idea of the development of art in Europe.

The student will be able to identify the essential works of art, the main style periods and artists and the differences between style periods. The student is able to recognize and analyze the characteristic features of different time periods. The student will be able to use art historical resources.
