Course contents (core content level)

After the course the student is familiar with various national and international web-based publications. He becomes familiar with interface design, visualization, typography and different types of articles. He gains knowledge about interactive nature of web based communication and how to use this knowledge while expressing himself.
The student becomes familiar with the stages of web based magazine from graphical design point of view: Definition, planning, implementation and publishing. He is part of the group which creates and publishes a web based magazine.

After the course the student has knowledge of marketing in the web, is familiar with the various formats of internet advertising. He also has created a internet based advertising campaign to support a given print campaign. This internet based campaign consists of webpages and animated advert/commercial.

Course contents (additional)

The student understands the many-faceted nature of e-media and is able to adapt various elements accordingly. He understands the importance of team work and sees his own responsibilities as a member of a team.

After the course the student is familiar with various national and international web-based publications. The student becomes familiar with the stages of web based magazine from graphical design and communications point of view.
After the course the student has knowledge of marketing in the web, is familiar with the various formats of internet advertising.

After the course the student is able to design, compile, test and publish an internet based magazine. He is able to create an advert for this magazine according the recommended formats. He is cabable of doing his share when creating a internet based magazine as a group work.

In order to pass the course the student has to be present at the lectures and complete the given assingments. The assessment is based on exam, internet magazine which will be done as a group assingment, internet advetising support campaign for the print campaign which consists of www-pages and animated advert/commercial.
