Upper secondary school Swedish (grade b or above in the matriculation examination) passed entry-level test or passed Basic Swedish course.

Education, working life, field-specific Swedish, both written and oral company presentations, company visits with relevant oral and written exercises, product presentations, small talk, telephone language, appointments, expression of opinion, e-mail

Applying for a job, giving advice, meetings, business letters, Grammar integrated with field-specific language

After completion of this course the student will understand technical and field-specific Swedish and be familiar with the basic grammar.

Taidolliset oppimistulokset (ydinaines ja -osaaminen)

After completion of this course students will be able to tell about themselves, their education and jobs both orally and in writing, make an appointment and write short e-mail messages. Students will have some command of general technical language, field-specific language, telephone language and they will be able to present a familiar company.

Opiskelijan kuormittavuus

Arvioinnin perusteet

Continuous assessment, assessment of project and oral and written exams. In order to pass the course, the student has to pass the exams and get a satisfactory mark of the project. Active participation in instruction (min. 80% attendance on contact lessons) is also required.
