On completion of this unit the student will know the concept of digital printing system and it´s basic functions. He/she will know how to prepare documents for digital printing. He/she will know the physical and functional imaging principles in elektrophotographic and ink jet printing. He/she knows the basic quality and delivery cycle factors in digital print production.
Taidolliset oppimistulokset (ydinaines ja -osaaminen)
On completion of this unit the student will be able to evaluate technical and economical feasibility of digital printing in different kind of print works. He/she will manage with the basic operations of a digital printing system. He/she will be able to give instructions for a basic digital printing workflow.
