Learning outcomes
By the end of this course, the students should be able to:
* Solve problems that involve index numbers and real changes
* Apply interest and compound interest to the problems of business application
* Calculate loan/mortgage repayments and the value of an outstanding loan/mortgage
* Summarise statistical data using tables, graphs and descriptive numbers

The course has been designed to give students an understanding of basic mathematical and statistical methods and analyses.
